Ludwig Legacy Mahogany drums are available in a variety of shell packs.  All Legacy Mahogany shell packs offer classic 3 ply Mahogany / Poplar / Mahogany ply construction. These shells are a decidedly modern version of Ludwig's classic vintage shell.  To enhance the Legacy Mahogany's vintage feel Ludwig has configured Legacy drums without gaskets under the lugs which provides a warmer tone, better response and enhanced sustain.  All kits feature a special Legacy Mahogany cast badge.
