The club date line was originally introduced in 1962 as a lower cost alternative to the Super Classic drums. Ludwig has re-introduced Cub Date shell packs. They will initially offer 3 packs, the SE Jazette, the SE Fab3 and the SE Downbeat which will be available in White Marine Pearl, Olive Sparkle, Silver Sparkle and the Club Date exclusive Ruby Sparkle.  These drums are great for gigging as well as vintage drum collectors who want a play a new vintage style kit.

Ludiwg Club Date Drums offer classic beauty and warm well balanced tone. Club Date shells are available in Olive Sparkle, Silver Sparkle, Ruby Sparkle and White Marine Pearl wraps.  The shells are a 6 ply Cherry/Gumwood Hybrid with a full 35 degree rounded bearing edge.  They also use classic twin tension lugs and inlayed natural brass hoops creating a warm well balanced sound at a very affordable price.
